About

In case you don’t know me, I’d like to use this space to tell you a little bit about myself.  As of right now, I’m living the good life in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex with my wife and dogs.  I’m a Marine Corps veteran and I hold a degree from Texas A&M, where I was a member of the Corps of Cadets.  I also have a master’s degree in theology from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University; that is to say, I spent two years studying theology in an environment where students have to figure out what they believe and why.  The liberal arts style, combined with a diverse faculty, makes for a fascinating experiment in theological education.  At the end of my time at Perkins, I decided to convert to the Orthodox Church, having been Southern Baptist for most of my life.  This blog will be largely devoted to theology, politics, economics, and other random topics from time to time.  Thanks for visiting and happy reading.  Cheers!
